Milestone | Early Childhood Development Knowledge Platform

Milestone is an Arabic-first knowledge platform for early childhood, from birth to around six. It turns what is known about child development into practical steps that fit everyday life at home and in the classroom, for three audiences: parents and caregivers, nursery and kindergarten teachers, and professionals who work with families.

A large, branching body of educational content — ages and stages, development areas, tools, resources and courses — had to serve visitors who usually want an answer for their own child at their current stage, in a calm, reassuring voice that never compares or diagnoses, with all content open without an account, an easy path into courses, and Arabic first with a complete English version.

Content structure and information architecture, the visual interface and user experience design, a custom WordPress theme, the ages and stages, topics, tools, resources, stories, courses and blog sections in Arabic and English, user accounts, the course registration and contact forms, and search engine readiness for every page.

A platform that starts from the visitor’s question: “Where would you like to begin?”. Parents pick their child’s age on a ten-stage journey (birth to six years); each stage has a page covering what they may notice, how to support their child, play ideas, a supportive routine and when to talk to a professional. Topic pages explain the development areas as one whole, practical tools offer short steps such as a weekly observation log and a 10-minute activity plan, alongside printable guides, cards and worksheets and illustrative stories. The training section gives every course its own page with its content and duration, registration in a minute with no upfront payment, and a direct WhatsApp enquiry.

A custom WordPress theme; linked content types for ages and stages, topics, tools, resources, stories and courses that connect each tool to its related resources and topics; instant search suggesting stages and topics as you type, with keyboard navigation; user accounts with a role (parent, teacher or professional) used to suggest suitable courses; registration and contact forms with explicit data consent and spam protection that never ask for a child’s health details; and separate Arabic and English versions with their own URLs and a language switcher.

A complete platform where visitors reach what fits their child’s age in one step, use the tools and resources free without an account, and register for courses easily, while the Milestone team manages content, courses and registrations from WordPress in both languages.
